A while back I found this wooden disks at the thrift store, I’m not sure what they were for, but I bought them at a local thrift store for 50 cents a piece. I had come left over cork board mat, and decided to make some fun and colorful mini cork circle boards. They are about 4 inches each, so its a nice way to pin up small notes near your desk! If you can’t find any wooden disks like this another alternative I thought to use would be costars, you can find these at thrift stores a lot! Or you can also find some great and inexpensive cork board circles at Ikea too!
This step was a bit tricky, you need to place something heavy onto the cork mat once you glue it on, if not it will curl back up on you, just let it set for 5 minutes until it’s dry.
I just love how they turned out, it’s so fun and I like that it doesn’t take up as much space as a large square or rectangle cork board, it leaves a more open look at my desk. Hope you have fun making them for both your office at work and at your home 🙂
